If there are multiple work streams each work stream will make its own demands on the resource that is the Constraint.
If the Constraint is overloaded it will slow down, which will slow down all the work streams that depend on the Constraint. The work streams need to be staggered so that the total load on the Constraint stays around 80% of its capacity. Essential Flow provides mechanisms that will help you calculate the necessary staggering to not overload your Constraint.
Once you have prioritized your work streams their start dates will be staggered based on their priorities so that they will not overload the Constraint.
If you add new work streams you will need to re-stagger their start dates.
